Mr. Younger focuses on business-related litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, class actions, products liability, insurance, condemnation, oil and gas, and other matters.   He has trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts.

Mr. Younger’s recent work includes:

  • Successfully defending class actions in state and federal court;
  • Successfully representing insureds and insurers in coverage litigation;
  • Obtaining millions of dollars for landowners through settlements and trial in condemnation cases;
  • Successfully defending a major natural resources company at trial against claims seeking to invalidate oil and gas leases;
  • Successfully defending a gas distributor at trial against a multi-million-dollar claim of economic loss after a propane leak and the evacuation of a nearby business;
  • Obtaining affirmance of summary judgment in a multi-million-dollar case about a premises owner’s duty to a business invitee; and
  • Obtaining affirmance of summary judgment in a toxic tort case involving alleged contamination of downstream property.

Prior to joining Quattlebaum, Grooms & Tull PLLC, Mr. Younger served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert T. Dawson, United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.  Mr. Younger graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law and, as the top-ranked student in his law school class, received the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.  He was awarded the T. C. & Rosemary Carlson Constitutional Law Award and was both an Arkansas Bar Foundation Ethics Scholar and University of Arkansas School of Law Presidential Scholar.  Mr. Younger served as Research Editor of the Arkansas Law Review.

Mr. Younger is admitted to practice in all Arkansas trial and appellate courts and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Ninth Circuits.
