Cliff McKinney Appointed to Commission on Uniform State Laws

On June 21, 2017, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced the appointment of J. Cliff McKinney II to the Commission on Uniform State Laws.

The Uniform Law Commission (ULC, also known as the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws) was founded in 1892 to study and review the law of the states to determine which areas of law should be uniform.  The ULC has commissioners from each state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  The ULC is responsible for the Uniform Commercial Code among many other uniform laws.  Mr. McKinney is one of three commissioners representing Arkansas, and his appointment expires April 30, 2021.
