Cliff McKinney To Present Webinar on AI Ethical Challenges

J. Clifford McKinney II is slated to conduct part two of a three-part webinar series on artificial intelligence for the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). The Ethical Challenges of Artificial Intelligence will take place on Tuesday, September 23, at 1:00 pm CST/2:00 pm EST.

The one-hour presentation will explore how generative AI is reshaping the legal profession and ethical obligations that lawyers must navigate in response.  Using ABA Formal Opinion 512 as the backbone, the program will examine the duties of competence, confidentiality, communication, candor, supervision, and fees, with detailed case law examples illustrating the risks of hallucinations, misuse of client data, and inadequate oversight.  The session will also highlight emerging evidentiary issues and practical concerns, such as billing and engagement letters.

Registration is $50 for ACMA Fellows and $75 for non-members.  ACMA will apply for 1 hour of CLE ethics credit for all who register for and participate in the September 23 program.  You can register here.
